Jacalyn “Jackie” Morrin, 62, of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, January 5, 2014, in Bixby Hospital, Adrian, MI. Born, June 21, 1951, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of James and Francis (Cousino) Morrin. She was a 1969 graduate of Bedford High School. Jackie was a newspaper courier for the Toledo Blade, Monroe Evening News and the Detroit Free Press for over 30 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance.
She is survived by her loving children, Hope (Jerry) Arp, Joshua “Jay” Morrin, Jessica Morrin, Amanda (Jeff) Aaron and Jamie Morrin. Brothers, William, Richard (Teresa), and Ronald. Sisters, Marcia (Bill) Mominee, Shirley (Harry) Albach, Wendy (Mark) Hoberg and Nancy (Bob) Zimmerman, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Russell “Rusty”, Gary Morrin and life-long friend, David Gill.
Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm.
